Kaba Earns EPAC Player of the Week with High Finish and Third Nationals Bid

Fatumata Kaba was honored by the Eastern Pennsylvania Athletic Conference as EPAC Player of the Week for Women's Track and Field for the week of March 30-April 5. At the Ursinus Springfest, Kaba delivered a fourth-place finish in the triple jump with a 10.90m distance. Her placement was the highest of the meet for the Delaware County Community College team. Kaba also earned her third national qualifying mark with a 4.98m mark and 10^th place finish in the long jump; she is currently second in the NJCAA DIII national rankings as a long jumper. The sophomore student-athlete is now qualified to compete in the long jump, triple jump, and 100m dash for the second consecutive year at Nationals. Congrats, Fatu! Go, Phantoms!
