Kaba '26 Earns National Scholar Athlete Accolades

The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) has named Fatumata Kaba the 2026 NJCAA Division III Women's Outdoor Track & Field co-National Scholar Field Athlete of the Year. Kaba is the reigning 2026 NJCAA DIII national champion in the triple jump and runner-up performer in the long jump, having earned numerous All-America and other accolades in her two-year Phantom career. She earned her associate degree in Psychology from DCCC in May 2026, graduating with a cumulative GPA of 4.00 and having served as president of the Student Government Association, vice president of the Psychology Club, and a member of the Phi Theta Kappa national honor society. Kaba is continuing her studies at Yale University. Congrats, Fatu, from your Phantoms family and alma mater!
