DCCC’s Kaba NJCAA Athlete of the Week

Charlotte, NC—She's number one! The National Junior College Athletic Association has named Phantoms first-year field phenom Fatumata Kaba 2025 NJCAA Division III Women's Outdoor Track and Field Athlete of the Week for March 26-April 1.
Kaba was the top NJCAA finisher in the women's triple jump, with a mark of 11:25m for a fourth-place finish in the Danny Curran Invitational at Widener University in Chester, PA. Currently, she is the sole athlete competing in field events in 2025 for Delaware County Community College, with locations in Delaware and Chester Counties, PA.
Three was a charm in Kaba's triple-jump debut. The previous week, she had posted a top NJCAA national mark (4.80m) in the long jump at West Chester University's Purple and Gold Open, her first collegiate meet. Kaba has qualified for May's NJCAA D-III National Championships in both events.
