DCCC’s Alviar Earns All-Region Honor

(Delaware and Chester Counties, PA)—The NJCAA Region 19 has named Delaware County Community College's Juan Alviar to its 2025 Division III Men's Soccer All-Region Third Team.

"Juan is highly deserving of this honor," affirmed DCCC Men's Soccer Head Coach Andrew Flood, praising Alviar's passion and skill. "His dedication to soccer and his team is outmatched only by his determination to get better every day. Not only is he an extremely skilled and intelligent soccer player, but also a true leader both on and off the field."

A first-year student-athlete with the Phantoms, Alviar led the team in points and was a goals leader along with Samba Diaby, Emmette Kutu-Akoi, and Zayzay Sairyon. His first collegiate goal was a game winner in DCCC's season opener. DCCC finished the 2025 season 1-13-1.
