Phantoms Deliver 11-4 Win Over Williamson
Media, PA–Delaware County Community College baseball capitalized on 15 hits and situational pitching to defeat Williamson College of the Trades 11-4 for the team's second win of the season.
Ethan Reyes headlined the box score with a masterful exhibition, going 3-for-4 with a double and two runs scored—leaving him only four hits away from tying DCCC's school record in NJCAA play. Reyes' impact wasn't limited to the batter's box: his aggressive baserunning kept the defense on its heels with a staggering five stolen bases.
The Phantoms' lineup proved deep and dangerous. Power-hitter Nicholas Radomile provided the afternoon's biggest highlight, launching his second home run of the season. Meanwhile, Dominic Masso turned in a complete performance, going 2-for-5 with an RBI, a walk, and a stolen base while serving up strong defense.
The victory featured a significant milestone for Hector Fierro, who notched his first multi-hit college game with three sharp singles. Teagan Jillard maintained his production with a pair of hits, while Aiden Lee, Landyn Washington, and Carlos Alvarez-Rivero each delivered timely knocks to sustain the Phantoms' momentum throughout the afternoon. Head Coach Andre Solomon looks to leverage that positive momentum heading into the final stretch of the season.
On the mound, the Phantoms relied on effective arms to keep the Mechanics in check. Christopher DeTurris earned the start and provided a solid foundation for DCCC, working over four innings without yielding an earned run. Michael Delollis stepped in to earn a crucial hold, navigating the middle innings with poise. Angel Fuentes then held Williamson to a single run through three innings to seal the win.
The Phantoms host Bergen Community College on Friday, April 17, at 3:00pm; DCCC's Athletic Field is located on its Marple Campus at 901 S Media Line Rd in Media, PA.
