Schnecksville, Pa. - The Delaware County Community College baseball team finished the 2022 slate with a 23-1 loss to host Lehigh Carbon Community College Tuesday afternoon.
Eric Blackwell tallied the lone RBI on the day in the sixth. Bryant Demota-Diaz led off the inning by being hit by a pitch. Jake Dougherty followed with a single before Andrew Rohrbach walked. Blackwell then delivered a single of his own to plate Demota-Diaz.
The Cougars (3-15) got off to a fast start with a nine-run first inning that proved to be insurmountable.
Cidrick Navas took the loss on the mound for the Phantoms (0-11) despite striking out five.
