Edison, N.J. — The Delaware County Community College baseball team could not solve Middlesex College's pitching on Thursday afternoon as the Phantoms fell to the Blue Colts, 15-0.
DCCC (0-6) could only manage three hits against Middlesex (28-15). The third inning saw multiple base runners for the visitors but they couldn't get any runs across the plate as the inning ended with the Phantoms grounding into a double play.
Eric Blackwell (0-2) took the loss on the mound for DCCC.
DCCC heads to Community College of Baltimore County-Dundalk for a doubleheader against the Lions beginning at noon.
